As a Mid-Level UI Designer, you will be a key player in our multi-disciplinary team, working closely with designers, product managers and developers. Your role is pivotal in creating customer-focused digital products that are intuitive, innovative, and impactful. You will leverage your experience to contribute to all stages of design, from ideation to execution, ensuring that our solutions are not only user-friendly but also aligned with business goals.

Day to day you’ll work within our sprint teams to create production level designs for development, based on concepts and specs created during our discovery phase.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting-edge fintech products, focusing on enhancing user experience and engagement.
• Implement customer insights and data to drive design decisions, crafting user journeys, wireframes, UI flows, and detailed interface designs.
• Develop interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to iterate and refine designs, ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and toolkits, ensuring consistency and scalability across all projects.
• Work closely with engineering and product development teams to bring designs to life, participating in the full product development lifecycle.
• Estimate, plan, and prioritize your workload effectively, presenting your design work and ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible in fintech design

Requirements

• 4 years of industry experience in UX and UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work across various web-based products
• Industry experience working on back-office financial products. Or Portfolio showing financial products.
• Proficiency in Figma, and a strong understanding of modern design systems and prototyping techniques.
• Solid experience in creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and conducting user research and usability testing.
• Effectively communicate design solutions across different teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of web design, responsive design principles, and the latest technologies relevant to digital experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and feedback clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence) would be beneficial.
