About this Role (Responsibilities):

  • Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders and engineers to gather and assess user requirements.
  • Visualise design concepts through wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
  • Utilise best practices to craft graphic user interface elements.
  • Create original graphic designs, including images, sketches, and tables.
  • Develop responsive designs optimised for various devices, form factors, and screen sizes.
  • Harness and customise established design systems to maintain consistency and scalability across all products and platforms.
  • Establish and document style standards encompassing fonts, colours, and imagery.
  • Maintain organised documentation of design deliverables, assets, and specifications, facilitating collaboration and handoff with development teams.
  • Engage in customer-facing sessions like Show & Tell and Voice of Customer gatherings to gather user-centric feedback, refining product design, user experience, and interfaces.
  • Conduct usability testing and research to gather insights and validate design decisions, iterating based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
  • Stay abreast of current design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continually enhance design processes and outcomes.
  • Share knowledge and expertise in UI/UX design methodologies and tools.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles and practices within the organisation, promoting a culture of empathy and user advocacy.
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Provide support to the Marketing team through Product Launch Excellence initiatives, ensuring readiness to promote Diagnexia products and services.
  • Complete all required company and job-specific training, including Security, ISMS, GLP, DocuSign, and relevant SDLC methodologies.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

About You (Skills and Experience):

  • Showcase a portfolio of User Interface design projects.
  • Demonstrate previous work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
  • You apply interaction design principles to overall UI layouts, championing visual aesthetics, usability, accessibility and responsive design.
  • Proficiency with UX Research and UI Design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Figjam.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Possess effective time-management abilities.
  • Experience of working in Agile environments with familiarity in SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • Hold a Degree or Masters in Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design or a related field.
  • You will have shown leadership skills in previous positions and are keen to develop these skills further.
  • You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and are able to execute on tasks by using your initiative.
  • You enjoy innovating and bringing new ideas to the table.
  • You like to have autonomy in your role and the independence to manage your own time and workload.
  • You are highly collaborative and enjoy working with lots of different teams and people.
  • You have great written and oral English language skills.
