WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING?

As a Senior Product Designer at YourParkingSpace, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual design and user experience of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, Engineering, and Data, to create exceptional digital experiences that meet and exceed customer and business needs.

Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Engineers, in your role as a Product Designer at YourParkingSpace, you will be responsible for:

• Helping Product Managers to refine initiatives and then collaborating with Product Owners to turn them into a reality
• Bringing proven methods for integrating user experience design into the product development process
• Evolving concepts to the relevant level of fidelity, from prototypes, to final mock-ups
• Supporting our Head of Design in creating style guides and graphical assets for use by our Engineering teams
• Engaging in user research sessions and acting on insights to further develop our products translating insights into actionable design improvements
• Carrying out heuristic analysis and optimise our current designs through hypothesis-based A/B testing with our teams
• Presenting work in design review sessions or demos
• Championing design quality and accessibility standards in all your work. Ensuring that our products are inclusive and user-friendly
• Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships and foster collaboration
• Occasionally designing marketing collateral and materials, both digital and print

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 3 years’ experience experience with designing world-class products (across UI and UX) that have delivered both business results and real value for customers
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma
• Strong communication skills - influence others and advocate for design at all levels
• Ability to create engaging interactive prototypes to discuss with stakeholders, showing knowledge of composition, colour theory and interaction design principles
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills to balance your involvement across multiple workstreams
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product design lifecycle
• Ideally, you have experience working in a product-first tech environment and possess a basic technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.
