What this role is about:

The Product team at RapidSOS is looking for a Product Designer to help us build out and scale our life saving technology. As a Product Designer, you will create product designs and deliver new features and experiences for our B2B products and RapidSOS brand. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to create world-class user experiences that are visually appealing and easy to use. You will also have the opportunity to conduct user research, analyze user feedback, and incorporate insights into your design decisions. You will thrive in this role if you are excited to work on design projects from concept to launch, collaborative, and care about the user experience!

What you’ll do:

  • Create mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and designs for new B2B web features and experiences along with enhancements to existing products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product Managers, Engineering, and external partners on roadmap efforts in an Agile framework
  • Design and conduct user research, using both quantitative and qualitative methods, and synthesize feedback and data into solid hypotheses around potential design solutions
  • Model how to use human-centered design approaches to frame problems, discover opportunities, and visualize concepts while continuously learning and being up to date on current industry trends
  • Partner with teams and relevant stakeholders to present and assess opportunities, constraints, and features while advocating for the end user and balancing business goals

What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • 2-3+ years of UI/UX design experience with web-based applications, preferably in a B2B SaaS enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience conducting, synthesizing, and utilizing user research such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify pain points of users and create design solutions
  • You are self-directed and enjoy solving difficult problems in a collaborative environment
  • You use data to inform your decisions, consider the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and drive alignment across stakeholders

Nice-to-have experience (but not required!):

  • Experience or working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or video editing preferred
  • Industry knowledge of public safety
  • Experience or enjoyment in mentoring junior team members

What we offer:

  • The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally
  • Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation
  • A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $125,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options. #LI-Remote
