GreeShield is hiring a

Product Designer

Toronto

WHO WE ARE

When it comes to health, we’re always looking for ways to push for better. It’s why we were founded in the first place. In 1957, our founder, pharmacist William Wilkinson, witnessed a mother sacrifice her health by forgoing her own medicine to pay for her sick daughter’s prescription. He knew there had to be a better way. So, he introduced North America’s first prepaid drug plan, and GreenShield was born as a not-for-profit with a mission to support better health for all Canadians.

We aren’t just a health and benefits company. We’re the only not-for-profit social enterprise that brings worlds of coverage and care together, all in one place. We’re noble challengers, purposefully building a better way and we need the best people to help us create a more holistic approach that takes care of the mind and body.

Our mission is to create better health for all Canadians, and we know that starts with our employees.

GreenShield Health is on a mission to improve your mental health at home, at work and beyond. We offer accessible, affordable and effective digital mental health solutions for individuals and organizations that care. With secure virtual counselling, personalized therapist matching services and digital-first employee wellness programs, we’re helping over a million people start feeling better without the wait. Want to help people get the support they need when they actually need it? You’re in the right place.

We are looking for a full stack Product Designer to research, conceptualize & ideate on incubating new consumer products, explore new use cases to extend our health capabilities and iterate on our Greenshield + Web and Mobile App.

You will work through the full cycle design process end-to-end from discovery to delivery, including user research to uncover and document user needs, scoping out design requirements, conceptual ideation, prototyping, creating design flows, and testing and iterating quickly to launch.

Our Product Designers work as members of cross-functional “pods” where they collaborate closely with a Product Manager and multiple developers to deliver initiatives and add value for our customers. Designers also collaborate outside the pods with other team members to facilitate workshops and contribute to new initiatives. You’ll join a diverse, growing team of Product Designers from various professional backgrounds that are passionate about solving complex problems, and continuously finding new ways to learn and grow!

As part of the design team at Greenshield, you are always encouraged to bring new ideas to the table, and share your learnings widely in the tech community.
