About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Product designer who has a passion for building an elegant modern interface to solve complex real-world problems.

• Work on converting users pain points into simplified UX design for Genie’s community-based AI law platform
• Regularly interact with users and test prototypes of your designs
• Contribute to our unique and innovative user interface designs
• Work closely with our Product Managers and Founders to translate the concepts and ideas into usable and thoughtful interfaces
• Build and improve Genie’s brand with your design and creative skills
• Run various design and UX experiments to improve designs
• Have the freedom to own what you do because at Genie AI every employee is a founder
• Share knowledge and grow because at Genie AI we believe that everyone has something to learn from each other
• Seniority of this role will depend on the experience of the successful candidate

About you

• You're passionate about technology and interested in working on an innovative SaaS product
• You have gained interesting experience working as a Product or UX/UI Designer
• You care about the user experience and enjoy user interviews interaction
• You’re empathic to the end-user & possess well-developed communication skills
• You possess a strong understanding of software interface designs
• You’re not afraid to rapid prototype and iterate on your designs
• You have a design style that is simple, elegant and modern
• You preferably have expertise with Figma and Miro
• You’re keen to work independently, as well as collaborate with a diverse, growing team, within an agile and scrum environment

Interview process

You will initially meet our Talent Acquisition Manager, Charlette followed by a technical take-home challenge. Thereafter you will meet our Co-Founder Nitish and UX / UI Designer Mayse to talk through some of your experience & your completed task. Finally you will meet our Co-Founder Rafie & Frontend Engineer Ana at Culture round
