The Role

We are looking for a Product Designer who thrives on working in a fast-paced, highly flexible environment. The Product Designer will work in a high performing Design Team, contribute to define and deliver best in class user experience for enterprise management systems (B2B), for consumer digital touchpoints (B2C) and for Cubic functions using internal tools (e.g. operations, NOC, SIM, Engineering & Test,…). This role will work alongside Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineers to understand objectives, outcomes, and requirements. They will focus on solving design problems and will be involved at every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Design and conduct user research, including interviews and workshops
  • Translate research data into design deliverables (e.g., user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes) that lead to an intuitive user experience
  • Comfortable working in a team but also fully autonomous from discovery to delivery
  • Build and maintain design system and component libraries
  • Comfortable rotating among different Scrum Teams depending on their needs
  • Together with the rest of the discovery team, test prototypes with users to collect feedback
  • Deep understanding user experience and interface best-practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the future vision and product strategy
  • Key contributor to cross-functional product discovery teams to help define what to build and why
  • Identify gaps in the market and create ways to fill those needs
  • Evaluate user experience to affect strategy and roadmaps
  • Bringing the user perspective to all discussions concerning problems & solution
  • Translating requirements into effective design-led solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product design experience working in both B2C and B2B
  • Multiple years’ experience conducting User Research (Quantitative and Qualitative)
  • Proficiency working with visual design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Invision, or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • A team player first and foremost and believe great things come from collaboration
  • Experience working in a cross-functional product discovery, in an agile/scrum environment and working collaboratively with product managers and developers, from concept to implementation
  • Ready to work at a scale-up and fast-growing start-up
  • Structured, Thorough, detailed oriented
  • Self-learner and Data-driven
  • Good communication skills and Storyteller that writes well
