We’re searching for a Product Designer II. This person will partner closely with senior leaders, engineers, product managers, and designers to streamline and scale internal processes and tools to help us bring the Aurora Driver to market. You should have a passion for human-centered design, starting with empathy for users and work to tailor your design solutions to meet their needs. You know how to tame complexity and dive into technically complex challenges to find patterns, deconstruct them into manageable chunks, and communicate concepts and ideas with simple, clear language and visuals. You enjoy the give and take of collaboration, sharing your work early and often for feedback and benefit from drawing out a variety of perspectives to diversify your thinking.
The base salary range for this position is $108,000-162,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
