Medicare, in addition to being Assurance’s largest line of business, is a $427 billion market that is characterized by immense complexity and quality-of-life-altering outcomes for its customers depending on their choice of plan. As Sr. UX Designer, you will play an integral role in building an industry leading digital experience for the nearly 30 million seniors who purchase Medicare Advantage plans annually. You will be responsible for understanding the daunting Medicare customer journey from awareness through purchase and building a seamless, intuitive experience that helps guide customers into the best plan for their needs and ensures they receive maximum benefits and peace of mind from their plan post-purchase. You will build a deep understanding of our Medicare customers, and showcase your ability to tailor your designs to the unique needs and preferences of this population. You will work together with our world class data science, engineering, product management and UX research teams (to name a few!) in order to accomplish these goals.
This position is responsible for delivering a world class digital Medicare experience on Assurance platform that successfully integrates with and enhances the telephonic support provided by licensed insurance agents. The successful candidate will own the Medicare customer journey from first contact through purchasing, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of UX designers, product managers, UX researchers, and engineers to deliver the best possible experience for our users.
Note: Assurance is required by multiple state and city laws to include the salary range on position postings when hiring in those specific locals. The salary range for this position will be between $180,000 - $220,000 and may be eligible for additional bonus or commission plans + benefits. Eligibility to participate in the bonus or commission plans is subject to the rules governing those programs, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and/or organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
