Position Overview

We are in search of an exceptional Product & Design Recruiter to support critical hiring across our Product and Design organizations. This role is ideal for a recruiter with deep experience in full-cycle recruiting for product and design functions within consumer technology environments, and who understands how to evaluate both craft and product mindset.

As a vital member of our recruiting team, you will partner closely with executives, product and design leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to build diverse, high-performing teams and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. You will help shape how we attract and hire product managers, designers, and researchers who combine strong execution with systems thinking, collaboration, and user empathy.

Reporting to the Global Head of Recruiting in San Francisco, you will collaborate closely with our existing global recruiting team, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and identify innovative sourcing strategies. You will directly engage with executives and organizational leaders to support critical hiring decisions that drive our business forward.

Remote Work

This is a remote US role. We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

What you will do:

  • Own and drive full-cycle recruiting for Product and Design roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates
  • Recruit across roles such as Product Managers, Product Designers, UX Researchers, Design Systems, Motion, Content Design, and related disciplines
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines using creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies for both short-term hiring needs and long-term workforce planning
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand their hiring goals, team structure, and role expectations, translating those into tailored recruiting strategies and interview plans
  • Screen and assess candidates for both functional excellence (craft, execution, technical depth) and product mindset (user empathy, systems thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving)
  • Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, providing regular updates on pipeline health, market insights, leveling guidance, and hiring progress
  • Use data, judgment, and storytelling to influence hiring decisions and improve funnel quality and speed
  • Partner with the broader recruiting team to build efficient, scalable, and inclusive hiring processes
  • Collaborate with People Operations partners to support thoughtful organizational design, targeted talent acquisition, and intentional internal mobility
  • Serve as an advocate for both candidates and the company, ensuring consistent communication, follow-through, and a best-in-class candidate experience
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement tools and practices that improve recruiter efficiency and hiring outcomes

Requirements

We would love consider you for our role if you have:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Background recruiting in consumer technology companies (B2C, mobile, marketplace, hardware, or platform)
  • Proven ability to close senior-level and highly specialized talent
  • Strong understanding of product and design roles, including how to evaluate portfolios, case studies, and product thinking
  • Demonstrated success using ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse) and sourcing tools (e.g., GEM), with a track record of driving process improvements
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, balance multiple priorities, and partner closely with senior leaders
  • Consistent history of meeting or exceeding hiring goals and building trusted partnerships with hiring managers
  • Experience coaching hiring managers and supporting long-term, strategic hiring plans
  • Demonstrated passion, ownership, and drive, paired with a warm, professional, and candidate-first approach

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1: $119,000 - $160,000
  • Region 2: $106,250 - $150,000
  • Region 3: $100,000 - $138,000
