Job Opportunity: Senior Product Designer (m/f/x)
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (m/f/x) to join our Design Team in Berlin. This is a key role for someone who thrives on end-to-end ownership, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll be the dedicated design partner for one of our product teams, shaping intuitive, high-quality user experiences while contributing to the evolution of our design system and overall design maturity. This position is ideal for a designer who wants to have tangible impact, influencing product strategy, improving processes, and helping define what great design looks like in a rapidly evolving geospatial technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver product design projects end-to-end with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality, user-centered outcomes.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define requirements, align on goals, and drive delivery.
- Conduct usability testing and apply research insights to inform design decisions.
- Connect design to measurable impact, and align design direction with company goals.
- Contribute to the evolution of our design system by creating and maintaining components, standards, and documentation.
- Continuously improve workflows and collaboration to increase design and development velocity.
- Regularly share your work cross-functionally, gather feedback, and iterate to raise the bar on design quality.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements and propose design-led initiatives that support company strategy.
- Establish yourself as the primary design contact for your product team, ensuring strong alignment and consistent delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Here is a good summary of what we are looking for:
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end product design projects, from discovery to delivery, within cross-functional teams.
- Strong interaction (IxD) and visual/UI design skills, with the ability to translate complex data and workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Strong Figma skills and experience maintaining design systems that balance consistency with evolving product requirements.
- Ability to work independently and confidently in high-ambiguity contexts, reframing challenges and maintaining momentum.
- Excellent time management and delivery focus, with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative, feedback-driven, and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Fluent in English and based in Berlin with hybrid work capability.
Bonus Points If You Bring:
- Experience designing geospatial, enterprise, or data-heavy B2B products.
- Background in UX research and data visualization or collaboration with UX writers, including complex workflow design.
- Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive design, and design systems at scale.
- Experience with rapid high-fidelity interactive prototyping.
- Awareness of current AI tools and emerging opportunities in UX processes, with an understanding of how AI can enhance user outcomes without adding unnecessary complexity.
