Job Description

Join U.S. Bank Foreign Exchange as a UI Designer and become part of a team dedicated to creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for digital products. This role requires a mix of artistic talent, technical skills, and a deep understanding of user experience principles. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our products are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and Prototype: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaboration: Partner with UX designers, developers, and product managers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Visual Design: Establish and maintain a consistent visual language across all digital products.
  • Interaction Design: Design interactive elements that enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Accessibility: Ensure designs are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Illustrator.
  • Prototyping Tools: Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, and Marvel.
  • HTML/CSS: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for collaboration with developers.
  • User-Centered Design: Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and processes.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset with a passion for design and innovation.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous UI design work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in UI design or a related role.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in UI/UX design are a plus.

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution, and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
