About the Role

As a Mid-Level User Experience Designer in our Patient Partnership Team, you'll be at the heart of our mission to empower patients with intuitive tools that make telemedicine simple and effective. You'll lead the design of features that directly shape how patients interact with doctors via our partners’ platforms, used daily across Germany. You will collaborate closely with seasoned designers, product managers, engineers and business people to overcome challenges and expand your expertise. This isn’t just a design job. What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to user-centric innovation: Support senior designers to conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research - from usability tests to surveys and interviews.
  • Translate insights into action: Analyse feedback and usage data to craft solutions grounded in real user needs.
  • Design user interfaces: Create low-fidelity prototypes for initial concepts and high-quality designs for implementation.
  • Create prototypes: Design and prototype components and interactions, especially for AI-related features.
  • Bridge design & development: Work closely with engineers to ensure clean hand-offs and solid implementation.
  • Strengthen our design language: Use, maintain, and evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work effectively with product managers, engineers, business partners throughout the design process.

What You Bring

We're looking for a designer with proven experience who is ready for their next challenge and is passionate about doing work that matters.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your process and impact, including research, prototypes and A/B testing.
  • Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams and levels to align design goals and priorities.
  • Proven experience with design systems, including using and contributing to them.
  • Proficiency with Figma, FigJam, or similar tools.
  • Strong aesthetic sense and a deep understanding of user-centered design.
  • Strong experience in conducting user interviews and setting up user tests.
  • The ability to quickly create prototypes and design proposals for various stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills: You can clearly explain your design decisions and thought process, backed by data, empathy, and strong design rationale.
  • Genuine passion for improving healthcare and making a positive impact through design.
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Basic skills in HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in the healthcare or telemedicine space.
  • Experience designing for web applications.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines and stakeholder requests (agency experience a plus).
