UX Designer

UX Designer – SaaS Product Experience

Location: Hybrid (On-site for first 90 days) MUST A RESIDENT OF HAWAII
Employment Type: Full-Time

At TEKsystems we are supporting a local organization seeking a talented UX Designer with a passion for crafting intuitive, scalable digital experiences. In this role, youll lead the user experience design process from research and discovery through wireframes and prototyping. Youll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and a Marketing Designer to shape how users interact with a complex SaaS platform, particularly in the HR tech space.

This is a collaborative and influential role focused on usability, clarity, and structure — not just visual polish. Youll help users navigate intricate workflows and engage with core HR processes in a modern, approachable way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and translate insights into journey maps, task flows, and experience improvements.
  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models that clarify complex workflows.
  • Lead UX strategy and design for product features from discovery through delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Designer to ensure UI elements align with brand and design system standards.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the internal design system with a focus on usability and scalability.
  • Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical feasibility.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in UX design for digital products, especially SaaS or business platforms.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and their application to complex systems.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma, including the ability to build and communicate interactive prototypes.
  • Experience designing and documenting within a design system.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A mindset that values continuous improvement, experimentation, and customer empathy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HR tech, payroll, benefits, or compliance platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
