User Experience Designer V (5917)

Job Location: SEATTLE, WA 98109
Our client is seeking a talented, passionate User Experience Designer to optimize their customer experience for their retail music experience. You will work collaboratively with other business functions to plan, develop, and release innovative and delightful UX solutions.

As a UX Designer, You Will

  • Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements via empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and proven UCD principles.
  • Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing.
  • Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and executives for review and feedback.
  • Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards.
  • Bring strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
  • Show proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Sketch.
  • Provide strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions is required.

As an Applicant, You Bring

  • Strong proficiency in Figma (required).
  • Experience with AI-driven design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma Make or similar).
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams (e.g., product, engineering, stakeholders).
  • A robust UX portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process.
    • Includes at least 2 complete case studies.
    • Showcases hypothesis formation, ideation, design, and final delivery.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts clearly.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-starter mindset with high attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with highly technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar tools).

Compensation

Pay Range: $85.00 - $95.00 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
