UX Design Senior Associate

Designs intuitive, engaging, and user‑centered digital experiences by translating complex user needs into functional and visually compelling interfaces. This role leads segments of UX workstreams, drives design decisions through research and analysis, and collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure high‑quality product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design activities for defined features or product areas, ensuring solutions align with user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Create detailed wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity visual designs that guide development and user understanding.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, including interviews, journey mapping, usability testing, and behavioral analysis.
  • Translate research insights into actionable design recommendations and product improvements.
  • Contribute to and uphold design system standards, ensuring consistency across digital products.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to shape requirements, validate designs, and support implementation.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to project teams and leadership, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
  • Mentor junior designers by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and modeling strong design processes.
  • Analyze user data, feedback, and market insights to guide iterative improvements and inform future design strategies.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and inclusivity are embedded throughout the design process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of user‑centered design methodologies, interaction design, and visual design principles.
  • Demonstrated experience creating design artifacts (e.g., wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity mockups) using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Experience conducting user research and translating findings into design solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present design concepts and reasoning to cross‑functional partners.
  • A portfolio demonstrating user‑centered design thinking, problem‑solving, and end‑to‑end UX/UI design capabilities.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $67,500 - $94,500
