UX Design Associate

Designs intuitive and engaging user experiences by translating user needs into functional and aesthetically cohesive digital interfaces. This role supports the creation of user‑centered design solutions across web and mobile products by applying design best practices, conducting user research, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into clear and intuitive UX design solutions.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, low‑ and mid‑fidelity prototypes, and interface mockups to support digital product development.
  • Contribute to user research activities, including interviews, usability testing, and analysis of insights to inform design decisions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of design systems, patterns, and UI standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and consistency throughout implementation.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to project teams and incorporate feedback to refine solutions.
  • Assist in evaluating user behaviors, analytics, and feedback to identify opportunities for design improvements.
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all design outputs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Foundational understanding of user‑centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Ability to translate requirements and research insights into coherent design artifacts.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Portfolio showcasing UX design work and design thinking process.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $59,000 - $82,500
