Job Description: Web Designer II

This person will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining multiple web design projects. As a Designer II, this is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a designer with an excellent design eye and sufficient web building experience and project ownership to jump into our Webflow environment and contribute right away, creating web experiences that are beautiful and engaging. This designer will also assist our testing and experimentation team to shape and test web designs according to user interaction data. This person will be an integral part of a team of designers that reports directly to the Creative Director.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and building websites in Webflow (or similar website builder/CMS platform)
  • 3-5 years of experience designing mockups and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator (After Effects a plus).
  • Working knowledge and experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize and enhance website functionality and design.
  • Digital portfolio displaying strong design skills and awareness of the latest design trends.
  • Proven ability to leverage current AI design and web building tools as well as demonstrated desire to continue learning how to expand their use of AI in their work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage constructive criticism and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of branding, marketing and consumer behavior and ability to apply that knowledge to design.
  • BA in web design, graphic design, computer science or equivalent industry experience.

Benefits & Other Information

This role has the option of being fully remote or in-person at our office in McKinney, TX, whichever is preferred. If remote, the designer must be available for meetings and collaboration according to the in-office schedule of 8:30am – 5:00pm Central Time, Monday – Friday.
