WHO YOU ARE:

You are a Sr UX designer and a key stakeholder on the Product Development team. The UX Designer owns the end-to-end design of product features - from ideation through UX, UI and development. You will transform complex financial workflows into intuitive user journeys that empower customers to manage their company expenses and build trust. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams you will design solutions that balance business goals and user needs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

User Research & Insights
Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to understand customer behaviors, needs, and motivations in the context of how companies manage employee expense.
Analyze research data to uncover insights and drive design decisions.
Partner with product and data teams to validate hypotheses with quantitative and qualitative evidence.

Experience & Interface Design
Create end-to-end user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile financial products.
Translate complex financial operations—such as payments, onboarding, budgeting, reporting, authentication, and risk workflows—into intuitive user experiences.
Design for clarity, trust, and compliance while ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with engineering to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain design quality throughout development.
Contribute to and help evolve the company’s design system, ensuring consistency across products.
Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to incorporate regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, card controls, transaction rules) into user flows without sacrificing usability.

Continuous Improvement
Measure the success of design solutions through usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback.
Advocate for best-in-class UX practices and champion a user experience centered culture across the company.
Understand UX psychology, and industry best practices to achieve specific desired outcomes during digital interaction.
Explore industry trends in fintech, UX patterns, accessibility, and emerging design tools.

Qualifications

Required
3–5+ years of experience as a UX or Product Designer with a concentration in B2B SaaS platforms
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
Experience using behavioral analytics platforms (Posthog, Google Analytics, Amplitude)
Experience using and analyzing session playback data from session recording platforms (Microsoft Clarity, Posthog, Mixpanel)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing, including surveys and prototype walk-throughs.
Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and UX best practices.
Understanding in developing and maintaining responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies/frameworks.

Preferred
Experience designing financial flows such as onboarding, transactions, reporting, or account management.
Familiarity with regulatory considerations in financial products (e.g., KYC, fraud prevention, user privacy).
