UX Design Analyst

The User Experience Design team within PepsiCos global Strategy and Transformation group is tasked with articulation of the vision, execution and implementation of PepsiCos next generation global digital products and data infrastructure. The User Experience Design team is not only responsible for software design solutions but will also be accountable for the resultant business improvement and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Based in Plano, TX, your role will be part of growing team focused on creating and supporting global digital solutions for PepsiCo. These solutions cover a broad scope including marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and direct-to-consumer experiences.

You will be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team where you will be our system thinker, turning inputs into actionable strategies and designs. You will work closely with designers, software engineers, process owners, product owners and final business users.

You will be an internal ambassador of the teams culture around User Experience Design, providing stewardship to colleagues and building our UX community. This role will support the following activities:

  • You will participate in the entire UX design process from initial research, ideation, conceptualization and design, to testing and validation.
  • You will identify opportunities for user research, engage our research team, and incorporate design changes based on research synthesis.
  • You will apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to guide the discovery and production of low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables.
  • You will create project deliverables such as low and hi fidelity mockups, prototypes, inform discussion guides for research, create insights reports and presentations, and present deliverables to clients.
  • Communicate with your team, your manager, and business stakeholders around project needs and deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products & services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Deep understanding of UX Design disciplines. Proven experience and knowledge of applying a design process, using a variety of methodologies such as Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, User Story Mapping, Wireframing, UI prototyping, & User Testing.
  • Experience with industry standard design tools (Figma, Adobe CC)
  • Experience working with a Design System and applying it across an eco-system of products and services
  • Strong communications and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Experience with contributing to a project vision, execution, and overall UX quality.
  • Experience working with a user research team and applying their findings to your design deliverables.
  • Experience advocating a User Centric Design approach that help in understanding the needs, pain point and desires of our users
  • Experience in designing responsive digital products, with a strong focus on mobile, both native and hybrid
