Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Lead UI Developer with a strong focus on Angular development to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate design concepts into efficient and user-friendly interfaces. You will be a key contributor in building and maintaining the front end of a large-scale enterprise data security platform, ensuring optimal experience, performance and scalability.

What the role offers:

As a Senior UI Developer, you will:

  • Possess 6-10 years of professional experience in modern enterprise-grade web application development.
  • Build high-performance, enterprise-scale web applications with reusable components and services.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine user stories and maintain the product backlog.
  • Contribute to best practices, ensure maintainability, and stay updated with the latest Angular technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Design applications for efficiency, scalability, and seamless UX/UI integration.
  • Guide junior engineers, evaluate new tools, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, with 5+ years of Angular and TypeScript expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Ngrx, JavaScript (ES6+), and SASS, with experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming for seamless data interactions.
  • Proficiency with Git and testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Cypress.
  • Familiarity with cloud-first, containerized SaaS systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of UX principles and methodologies; Full Stack Java and RESTful API experience is a plus.

Compensation:

At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, were happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range:

$85,820.00 - $135,820.00; Depending on the candidates education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
