UX Engineer Role

As a UX Engineer in the Microsoft Discovery team, you will play an integral role in defining and executing a new vision for AI-driven science platform development. You will help shape the development of experiences that aim to break new ground in how we interact with agentic AI.

Responsibilities

• Develop front end designs, specs and user interface systems.
• Partner with engineers to build out fully functioning features.
• Generate ideation solutions.
• Identify user needs and define product designs.
• Develop prototypes to meet specific needs, solve challenges and get user feedback.
• Work with designers to iterate designs during implementation and oversee versioning of tools.
• Listen to customer needs, drive accessibility and connect Design and Engineering with tools/platforms.
• Liaise between Design and Engineering to deliver product requirements and drive consistency with existing codebases and design systems.
