We work in-person five days a week in our new San Francisco headquarters.
What youll do
- Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI
- Collaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing ones
- Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scales
- Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and powered by elements like Tailwind
- Work closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Mercors design philosophy & culture
- Help tutorialize the product experience — ensuring that users know what to do without needing to be told
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth
- Passion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use
- 3–6 years in product design, ideally at fast-moving startups or high-bar product teams
- Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints
- Proven ability to operate autonomously
- Bonus: Experience building AI-driven products or marketplaces
