Were seeking a Senior Product Designer with a strong focus on AI to help shape and evolve Manychats AI products. You will report to our Product Design Manager and work in a cross-functional team to create intuitive, intelligent experiences that empower users to build and manage sophisticated AI-powered automations.

WHAT YOULL DO 🚀

  • Youll contribute and be involved throughout the entire AI product development cycle, from research to production.
  • Youll be an advocate and a key touchpoint for the Product Design team in AI design expertise, reviews and documentation.
  • Youll create clear artefacts to help the entire product group understand the rationale and the state of design decisions.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE 🎯

AI Design Excellence

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of AI interfaces and conversational design patterns, with ability to create solid and cross-platform experiences for complex scenarios and workflows.
  • Apply knowledge of generative AI and machine learning to design scalable and adaptive solutions that empower users to build and manage AI-powered automations.
  • Stay current with emerging AI/UX trends and evaluate how they can be incorporated into Manychats product ecosystem.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Foster collaborative relationships with designers, PMs, developers, and cross-functional teams to advocate for best practices and human centered design.
  • Take a proactive approach to identifying value opportunities and blockers for the team, ensuring smooth collaboration across multiple functions.
  • Successfully design intuitive experiences that enable creators to seamlessly integrate with AI agents, showing deep understanding of both user needs and contextual requirements.

Ownership & Accountability

  • Take full accountability for end-to-end design within assigned AI problem areas, consistently improving experiences by identifying and resolving friction points.
  • Maintain strong adherence to design systems and established patterns whilst pushing innovation forward in AI experience design.
  • Leverage deep research, data and customer knowledge to inform all design decisions, ensuring solutions meet real user needs and business objectives.

Influence and Business Acumen

  • Demonstrate ability to influence stakeholders and align diverse perspectives through outstanding communication and advocacy for design decisions.
  • Balance user needs with business objectives, understanding key metrics and how design delivers business value.
  • Create compelling narratives and documentation that help the entire product group understand design rationale and progress.

WHAT YOULL BRING 💥

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in design with 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer at a technology-driven organisation, with a proven track record of designing AI products and conversational interfaces.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating design expertise in product design, including conversational experiences for complex AI workflows whilst balancing user needs with business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of AI interface design principles, conversational design patterns, prompt engineering, and human-AI interaction frameworks that can scale across diverse use cases and user contexts.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams, advocate for design decisions in AI product development, and align diverse perspectives across product, engineering, and data teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and experience prototyping AI interactions, including designing for generative AI responses, conversation flows, agent behaviours, and dynamic user interfaces.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI prototyping, prompt engineering and vibe coding to rapidly generate and iterate design concepts.
  • Knowledge of front-end development fundamentals and limitations to create feasible design solutions.
  • Relevant experience with mobile design for conversational and automated experiences.
