UI Designer

Job Description

Client is seeking a UI designer with 5+ years of experience for the client, working as part of a multidisciplinary team (Product Owner, designers, integrators, developers). The core of the role is producing mockups and components aligned with existing libraries and brand standards: the client envisions a meticulous visual executor working within an existing design system, not a designer starting from scratch. WCAG accessibility is mentioned twice in the description (required skill and integration from the design stage), making it a true priority, not just a formality. An understanding of front-end constraints, web performance, and responsive design indicates a candidate who delivers workable mockups in direct dialogue with the integrators. This is not a UX design research or strategy role: a profile focused on workshops, personas, and user journeys without concrete UI production is not suitable.

Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

Required:

  • 5+ years of UI design experience
  • Mastery of visual design principles, ergonomics, and interaction
  • Design of consistent, intuitive, and brand-aligned interfaces
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • WCAG accessibility practices
  • Proficiency with Figma and collaborative design tools (Figma required, other alternative tools preferred)
  • Experience in UI design for complex websites or digital products

Desired:

  • Experience in an agile and multidisciplinary environment
  • Understanding of front-end technical constraints
  • Knowledge of web and responsive performance issues

Asset:

  • Experience in insurance or financial services

What We Dont Want:

  • UX research or strategy profile without concrete UI production (workshops, personas, user journeys only).
  • Print or branding graphic designer without experience in web interfaces or digital products.
  • Candidate without demonstrated experience with a design system or component library.
  • No mention of WCAG accessibility practices in their work.
  • Less than 5 years of UI design experience.
  • Profile of integrator or front-end developer who does design work on the side.
