You are applying to an exceptional team that contributes to enhancing our position as a proven global expert in data management.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack UI Developer with strong expertise in React and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures to join our engineering team in Centennial, Colorado. In this role, you will take technical ownership of user-facing applications, spanning front-end architecture and UI-focused backend services that enable performance, scalable, and intuitive enterprise experiences.

You will work closely with product management, UX designers, and backend platform teams to translate product vision and Figma-based designs into robust, production-ready solutions. This role blends hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural influence across the UI stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop modern web applications using React and build and maintain Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services that aggregate, adapt, and optimize backend APIs for UI consumption.
  • Collaborate with UX and product teams to translate Figma designs into high-quality, reusable UI components aligned with design systems.
  • Define and evolve front-end and BFF architectures with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Partner with backend engineers to define API contracts and data models that support complex enterprise workflows.
  • Drive UI performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure consistent engineering standards across UI and BFF layers.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to raising the overall quality bar of the team.
  • Proactively identify technical debt and lead refactoring or modernization efforts where needed.
  • Stay current with modern UI, full-stack, and API design trends and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 8+ years of professional experience building user-facing web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React in production.
  • Experience designing and implementing BFF or UI-focused backend services (Node.js, REST, GraphQL, or similar).
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience working closely with UX teams and implementing designs from Figma or similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and browser compatibility.
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across front-end and API integrations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office engineering environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with enterprise-scale or data-intensive applications.
  • Background in storage, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
  • Experience building and maintaining reusable UI component libraries or design systems.
  • Familiarity with API security, authentication, and authorization.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strong technical leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and best practices.
  • Ability to influence architectural direction across the UI and API landscapes.
  • Comfort balancing hands-on development with mentorship and technical guidance.
