UX & Visual Experience Designer
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled UX & Visual Experience Designer to bring behavioral concepts to life through exceptional interaction design, motion, and visual storytelling. This role focuses on crafting intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically compelling learning experiences across mobile, desktop, and in-product environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex ideas into seamless user journeys—making compliance learning feel human, accessible, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end learner flows and interactive interfaces across platforms including mobile, desktop, and embedded product experiences
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that visualize narrative flow and user logic
- Conduct usability testing to validate emotional tone and user experience; apply accessibility and inclusive design standards
- Develop cohesive visual systems including color palettes, typography, and layout principles
- Translate scripts and storyboards into interface compositions for course modules, microsites, and chatbots
- Build and maintain component libraries and templates to ensure visual consistency across the learning portfolio
- Design animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that enhance comprehension and emotional engagement
- Collaborate with editors and producers to align motion design with video, sound, and interaction pacing
- Create dynamic visual assets for short films, simulations, and product tutorials
- Partner with learning engineers to ensure design fidelity from prototype to production
- Contribute to the design system team by expanding motion and interaction patterns and advocating for usability and aesthetic excellence
Team & Projects
This role is part of a Regulatory, Risk, and Ethics Learning Design team composed of learning designers, writers, producers, and engineers. Key initiatives include:
- Developing interactive learning experiences such as chatbots, microsites, and scenario-based modules
- Designing visual identity systems for educational content
- Creating interface overlays, graphics, and motion elements
- Shaping the design system and brand toolkit for learning experiences
Day-to-Day Activities
- Participate in daily design syncs and collaborative reviews
- Translate scripts and storyboards into UX flows and visual compositions
- Create wireframes and animations using Figma and After Effects
- Collaborate with video editors, producers, and L&D teams to integrate visuals and interactivity
- Maintain and evolve the component library and design system
- Engage in iterative feedback cycles to refine design quality

Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in visual design, UX, or multimedia design—preferably in tech, creative agencies, or learning environments
- Strong proficiency in Figma, After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere
- Demonstrated experience in UX design and visual storytelling across digital platforms
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design, and user testing
- Portfolio showcasing both motion and interface design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with LMS platforms, SCORM/xAPI, or other interactive learning frameworks
- Familiarity with behavioral design or learning science principles
- Exposure to 3D tools or lightweight prototyping code
- Background in software design and development
- Experience in professional UI and data-driven UI development
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline
