Functional Analyst (Oracle) – Grade 8

Location: County Hall, Lancashire
Directorate: Resources – Digital User Experience
Salary: Grade 8 (Competitive, with enhancements for standby rota)

Are you passionate about Oracle technology and digital transformation? Lancashire County Council’s Digital Services team is looking for a talented and motivated Functional Analyst (Oracle) to help us deliver outstanding digital solutions for our organisation and external clients.

What You’ll Do

Support and maintain Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including 2nd line and on-call emergency support.
Implement updates, improvements, and system changes.
Develop user training materials and deliver training sessions.
Create and maintain knowledge articles and operational support documents.
Collaborate in a DevOps environment, working on both business-as-usual and change projects.
Participate in our out-of-hours standby rota (with additional pay).

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
ITIL Service Management knowledge is desirable.
