Functional Analyst (Oracle) – Grade 8
Location: County Hall, Lancashire
Directorate: Resources – Digital User Experience
Salary: Grade 8 (Competitive, with enhancements for standby rota)
Are you passionate about Oracle technology and digital transformation? Lancashire County Council’s Digital Services team is looking for a talented and motivated Functional Analyst (Oracle) to help us deliver outstanding digital solutions for our organisation and external clients.
What You’ll Do
- Support and maintain Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including 2nd line and on-call emergency support.
- Implement updates, improvements, and system changes.
- Develop user training materials and deliver training sessions.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles and operational support documents.
- Collaborate in a DevOps environment, working on both business-as-usual and change projects.
- Participate in our out-of-hours standby rota (with additional pay).
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
- ITIL Service Management knowledge is desirable.
