Freelance Product Designer (f/x/d)

We're building intelligent recommendation systems that understand customer preferences, purchase history, and behavioral patterns to deliver personalized product suggestions that drive revenue while enhancing the customer experience.
Why This Role Exists
Konvo is scaling fast. We're shipping aggressively, launching new features, overhauling legacy surfaces, and raising our design bar across the board. To keep pace without compromising craft, we’re expanding our design capacity with a freelance product designer who can plug directly into core initiatives and deliver independently. This isn’t a speculative design or strategy-only role, you’ll be deep in production work, helping us execute at a high level while everything moves fast around you. You’ll work on foundational experiences and bring consistency, clarity, and focus to a product evolving weekly.
Tasks
What day to day will look like:
- Leading the rollout of our new design language, progressively replacing legacy UI across the product with a more consistent, modern system.
- Defining new interaction patterns and UX paradigms for configuring, deploying, and evaluating AI agents across real-time channels.
- Contributing to and evolving our design system, identifying reusable patterns and pushing for consistency across surfaces.
- Design for multiple form factors: responsive web, and embedded chat widgets.
- Maintaining design quality post-handoff—performing design QA, ensuring implementation accuracy, and closing gaps between spec and shipped.
- Partner with founders and engineers to move fast without compromising craft.
- Contribute to a high-velocity design culture focused on clarity, speed, and value.
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- Experience shipping high-quality B2B SaaS interfaces, ideally around messaging, AI, or automation.
- Balances speed and precision. You know when to move fast and when to obsess over the last 1% that makes something intuitive.
- Confidence with ambiguity: you know how to carve direction when none exists.
- Operates with ownership, urgency, and independence.
- Location: Berlin or Barcelona.
This role is not for you if:
- You prefer hands-off research, strategy, or design ops roles.
- You need detailed specs and step-by-step PM guidance to begin.
- You avoid working in high-velocity environments where requirements evolve.

- You bring structure to ambiguity, translating complexity into intuitive, human-first experiences.
- You consistently deliver high-impact work with little direction needed.
