About the Role

As Manager, Product Design, you will oversee your team's daily operations, provide guidance, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure alignment with business and prioritization goals. Your design and thought leadership will drive your team members' performance, innovation, and professional development.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive a customer-first approach for the User Centered Design (UCD) process and bring design thinking to balanced teams.
  • Demonstrate creative leadership helping the team and key stakeholders with product vision, business priorities, and aligned outcomes of the Balance Team (BT).
  • Develop and implement design strategies through key insights and data that enhance user experience, align with business goals, and foster innovative solutions for the BTs.
  • Educate and promote research methods and educate BTs on how to choose optimal learning plans for every project.
  • Create intuitive and impactful holistic Merchandizing experiences that enhance users' workflow.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure projects align with overall business objectives.
  • Employ and build a holistic design system to meet ambiguous and complex challenges, ensuring interconnectedness and efficiencies across system components.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned.

What Skills You Have

Required

  • 6-10 years experience as a designer creating software products and owning an experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience.
  • Relevant experience in enterprise systems design.
  • Management experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in User-Centered Design, closely collaborating with agile Software Developers/Product managers and contributing to successful products using Lean Startup and Agile methodologies.
  • Deep experience in: Experience Design, User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or Service Design.
  • Prior experience in merchandizing and familiarity with industry standards in Merchandise hierarchy and process.
  • Comfort with ambiguous problems, legacy technology, and net new solutions.
