Heres what that actually looks like.
What Youll Do
- Live the product. Build on Kajabi like a Hero would. Feel what they feel. Notice whats good, whats hard, whats broken.
- Own design end-to-end. Shape project pitches, work in 6-week cycles with engineering, and ship polished experiences across web and mobile.
- Make complexity feel simple. Absorb complexity so Heroes dont have to.
- Know where to invest craft. Not all work requires the same level of polish. Know when to reach for system patterns and when to sweat every detail.
- Build and evolve the design system. Create patterns that drive platform-wide consistency while knowing when a moment needs something more deliberate.
- Ship working software. Use tools like Cursor and Claude Code to go from Figma to real prototypes. Iterate in days, not weeks. Working software is the measure.
- Connect with Heroes. Conduct customer interviews. Build deep empathy for their challenges.
Who You Are
- You are a craftsperson. You sweat the details and know the difference between good and great.
- You are a generalist with range. Product design is home base, but you can contribute across visual, web, and brand.
- You are technically literate. Comfortable collaborating with engineers, understand how code works, and can leverage AI tools to prototype directly in code.
- You thrive in ambiguity. You can take a loosely defined problem, shape it, and drive toward a clear outcome without waiting for permission.
- You have strong judgment. You know where to invest time and where to move fast. You make tradeoffs with confidence.

How We Work Together
For this role, we expect regular onsite presence at our Irvine, CA office 5 days per week. If youre not currently located in Irvine, CA, were glad to provide relocation support for strong candidates who want to join us in person.
Pay Range
At Kajabi, we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. In an effort to provide greater transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The position is also eligible for a bonus. Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.

$160,000 - $200,000 + bonus
