Job Description:
As the first dedicated UX Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and engineering for a high-growth startup. You will own the component library, optimize front-end performance, and shape micro-frontend architecture. This is a high-impact role where you will define the visual language and technical standards for a category-defining product.

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain a reusable component library and design system using React and TypeScript.
  • Optimize front-end performance by monitoring Core Web Vitals and managing bundle size budgets.
  • Collaborate with product and design to prototype and validate interactive proofs-of-concept rapidly.

The ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years of professional front-end experience with a focus on UI/UX detail and polish.
  • Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind.
  • Strong understanding of performance engineering, including bundle analysis and code-splitting patterns.
