Title: Staff Experience Designer
Location: Remote US or Canada
Reports to: Director, Product Design
Vacancy: This is an existing vacancy
Were looking for a Staff Product Designer who thrives in complexity and thinks in systems, not just screens. Youll help shape the future of JD Powers data‑driven products and platform—turning complex enterprise workflows and analytics into experiences that feel clear, intuitive, and genuinely useful.
This isnt just about designing features. Its about stepping back to see how everything connects—defining frameworks, aligning teams, and shaping direction. Youll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and business leaders to clarify ambiguous problems and turn them into thoughtful, high‑impact solutions across multiple products.
Youll raise the bar for design across the organization—mentoring others, evolving our design system, and helping teams move faster without sacrificing quality. The role demands a balance of systems thinking, strong visual craft, meticulous attention to detail, and product‑level decision‑making, with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity. Youll work primarily in Figma and Adobe CC, incorporating AI‑enhanced workflows where they accelerate insight or polish.
Your impact wont just be in what ships—it will shape how we think about and build products over time.
