Job Description:

This is a hybrid role; the selected candidate will work a minimum of 2 days per week from HPE office in St. Laurent. We are the core UI team behind Aruba Central, a flagship platform for managing HPE Networking infrastructure. The product brings the self-driving network vision to life and helps maintain HPE Networking as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of UI features for cloud products using TypeScript and React (or equivalent frameworks), with guidance from senior team members.
- Translate product and technical requirements into clean, maintainable front-end components and application flows.
- Follow established front-end engineering standards, including code quality, accessibility, performance, and design consistency.
- Support the UI quality strategy by writing and maintaining automated tests (unit and end-to-end), including Jest and Cypress.
- Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and platform teams to support reliable integration, deployment, and observability of front-end services.
- Use AI-assisted coding responsibly to accelerate delivery, while validating output quality and flagging potential hallucinations.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and apply feedback to improve implementation quality.
- Take ownership of small to medium scoped tasks and progressively expand responsibility across specific UI domains.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by learning and adopting relevant tools, frameworks, and engineering practices.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- 1-5 years experience (internships and relevant project experience considered).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good programming skills in high-level
- Knowledge of React or another high level web framework (Angular, Vue.js…)
- AI-assisted coding. You use AI as a practical tool and you can detect low-quality or hallucinated output.
- Quality mindset. Cypress, Jest (UT)
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket) or GitHub is a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to teammates and stakeholders.

Il sagit dun poste hybride : le candidat retenu travaillera au minimum 2 jours par semaine au bureau HPE de Saint-Laurent. Nous sommes léquipe UI principale derrière Aruba Central, une plateforme phare pour la gestion de linfrastructure dHPE Networking. Le produit concrétise la vision du réseau autonome et contribue à maintenir HPE Networking comme leader de lindustrie.
Responsabilités :
- Contribuer au développement de fonctionnalités UI pour des produits infonuagiques en TypeScript et React (ou un cadre équivalent), avec laccompagnement de membres seniors de léquipe.
- Transformer les exigences produit et techniques en composants front-end clairs et maintenables, ainsi quen parcours applicatifs cohérents.
- Appliquer les standards dingénierie front-end établis, incluant la qualité du code, laccessibilité, la performance et la cohérence du design.
- Soutenir la stratégie de qualité UI en rédigeant et en maintenant des tests automatisés (unitaires et bout en bout), notamment avec Jest et Cypress.
- Collaborer avec les équipes backend, DevOps et plateforme afin de soutenir une intégration fluide, des déploiements fiables et une bonne observabilité des services front-end.
- Utiliser le codage assisté par IA de manière responsable pour accélérer la livraison, tout en validant la qualité des résultats et en signalant les hallucinations potentielles.
- Participer aux revues de code et aux discussions techniques, puis intégrer la rétroaction pour améliorer la qualité des livrables.
- Prendre en charge des tâches de petite à moyenne portée et élargir progressivement ses responsabilités sur des domaines UI précis.
- Contribuer à lamélioration continue en apprenant et en adoptant des outils, cadres et pratiques dingénierie pertinents.
- Baccalauréat en informatique, génie, systèmes dinformation ou dans une discipline quantitative connexe.
- 1 à 5 années dexpérience (stages et projets pertinents considérés).
Connaissances et compétences :
- Bonnes compétences en programmation TypeScript
- Connaissance de React ou dun autre cadre web de haut niveau (Angular, Vue.js…)
- Codage assisté par IA : vous utilisez lIA comme un outil pratique et vous êtes en mesure de détecter un résultat de faible qualité ou halluciné.
- Orientation qualité : Cypress, Jest (tests unitaires)
- Outils Atlassian (Jira, Bitbucket) ou GitHub : un atout
- Bonnes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale.
- Capacité à expliquer clairement des idées techniques à léquipe et aux parties prenantes.

The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
