Harmonic Security are hiring a

Senior Product Designer

We are an AI-First Data Protection/Cybersecurity company seeking a Senior Product Designer

In this role, you won’t just be designing interfaces; you will be the guardian of the “Technical UX”. Your goal is to translate our sophisticated data detection engine into a self-serve experience that is so intuitive it sells itself.

About the Role

This is a UX-heavy position designed for a logic-first thinker. You are someone who finds beauty in a perfectly state-machine and sees a messy UI baseline as a debt that must be cleared.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systems Architecture & Technical UX: Partner closely with the Product Team to translate high-stakes complexity into frictionless user workflows. You will be responsible for mapping out system states and complex data logic to ensure the product remains intuitive, regardless of technical complexity.
  • Signal Integrity & Research Standardisation: You will collaborate with the team and run solo to conduct unprimed user testing, ensuring our roadmap is driven by raw evidence and “Signal”.
  • UI Baseline and Stewardship: Drive the standardisation of our design system to eliminate “Dev Drift” and maximise engineering velocity. You will work with the engineering team to ensure our Design and UI baseline is consistent, reusable, and high-fidelity.
  • Cognitive Load Optimisation: Act as a bridge between the product’s power and the user’s mental model. Your goal is to simplify “technical UX” so effectively that the product becomes self-serve, directly supporting our Product-Led Growth goals.
  • Strategic Handoff & Logic Mapping: Provide Engineering with high-fidelity specs that go beyond static mocks. You will define the logic for edge cases and error states upfront, reducing the need for mid-sprint pivots and clean up work.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in UX and/or Product design.
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles, best practices, and usability heuristics.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver exceptional user experiences, backed by a strong portfolio of successful projects.
  • Ability to distil complex users needs into simple intuitive solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Experience in B2B/Enterprise/SaaS and “High-Cognitive Load” products (eg: Cybersecurity, Fintech, DevOps tools, or Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma.
  • Systems/Library Ownership/Contribution is desirable.
