GreenLite are hiring a

Senior Product Designer

Our Company

The U.S. construction permitting process is a black box. Over 500,000 forms and 20,000 processes, yet 95% of cities use the same building code. Every permitting delay costs businesses revenue, stalls expansion, and disrupts construction schedules. Founded in 2022 by builders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, GreenLite eliminates permitting uncertainty for developers nationwide. We combine AI-powered technology with an in-house team of registered architects, engineers, and city planners to deliver the fastest, most predictable path to permit approval. Our expert-led compliance process ensures plans are code-ready before submission, reducing revisions, delays, and costs. GreenLite has raised $86M in venture funding from leading investors including Insight Partners, Energize Capital, Craft Ventures, LiveOak Ventures, Trust Ventures, and Chicago Ventures. National brands, including Walgreens, TD Bank, and Driven Brands, trust us to accelerate approvals, reduce risk, and unlock growth.

The Role

GreenLite is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our product and engineering team in bringing innovative solutions to market. Youll lead the end-to-end design process: validating concepts through user feedback, translating insights into prototypes, and delivering high-fidelity designs that scale. Youll be instrumental in building our design systems, driving product vision, and reimagining how we build and deliver value to customers. This is a high-impact role where youll shape our products—from early idea to final implementation.
Role Type: Hybrid NYC
At GreenLite, we place value in our in-office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace 3 days per week (T,W,Th) to enable balance for our teammates while keeping GreenLites goals top of mind.

What youll be doing

  • Own the design lifecycle across multiple product lines—from rough concepts to pixel-perfect delivery.
  • Create and maintain scalable design systems in Figma to support rapid prototyping and consistent implementation.
  • Conduct user research and synthesize findings into actionable insights, journey maps, and personas.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure thoughtful, production-ready handoffs.
  • Bring new ideas to life through low-fidelity explorations and interactive prototypes.

What were looking for

  • 3+ years of experience designing modern web applications (SaaS or B2B preferred).
  • Mastery of Figma and strong grounding in human-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency with AI design tools (Figma Make, Claude Design).
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly.
  • A bias toward action and comfort working independently within a small, fast-paced team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—youll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and product leads.
