Sr. Product Designer - Contract

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer (Contract) to deliver impactful work on key initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with our Design Director on direction and strategy, and take the lead on flows, features, and deliverables—crafting intuitive, well-designed experiences that users love. This position is a US based remote position with a contract rate between $80-$85/hour.

What you’ll do

  • Lead design execution – Own specific flows, features, and deliverables, translating high-level direction into elegant, user-centered outcomes.
  • Design with craft and impact – Create intuitive, engaging experiences for mobile apps and responsive web—balancing platform best practices with polished, well-crafted solutions.
  • Build scalable systems – Use deep Figma expertise to create styles, libraries, and dev-ready components that ensure consistency and enable efficient collaboration.
  • Collaborate and communicate – Partner closely with the Design Director, stakeholders, and developers—presenting ideas clearly, iterating on feedback, and driving work forward with strong communication.
  • Work with independence – Manage your own projects and timelines with minimal oversight, ensuring progress while staying aligned with overall direction and strategy.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of product design experience with a record of delivering high-quality, user-centered work.
  • Strong expertise in mobile and responsive web design patterns.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency (styles, libraries, components, prototyping).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively partnering with a design lead.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong design craft, with attention to detail and consistency across deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Experience in consumer fintech or marketplace products is a plus.
