Fortinet seeks an Intermediate UX Designer for the product development team at our Burnaby R&D site. This role will combine networking/cybersecurity knowledge with UI design, UX research, and UX writing methodologies to improve our users’ ability to monitor network security; make decisions based on complex data points and to adjust device configurations.
This role is tightly integrated with development and QA teams to incorporate user feedback into the product development cycle. As such, the ideal candidate will have the aptitude and communication skills needed to operate in a technical environment. Interest in, and/or understanding of networking or frontend web development is foundational to this role’s success.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $86,000 - $105,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
