The opportunity

Part of EY Consulting is Studio+. Our Studio+ team brings together a broad portfolio of capabilities with 7,000 design, marketing, sales, service and technology professionals across 50 countries, backed by 400,000 EY professionals. Studio+ provides a comprehensive portfolio of solutions tailored to empower organizations to deliver exceptional experiences that create value for both their customers and their business. By leveraging innovative technologies and a human-centered design approach, we drive meaningful business outcomes for clients across varied sectors. We focus on empowering clients to attract new customers, foster loyalty among current ones, build trust, and deliver meaningful impact for people who use our clients’ products and services.

We’re looking for a Senior Experience Designer to help shape digital products, services, and journeys for clients across a range of engagements. This role blends strong UX/UI craft with systems thinking, facilitation, and the ability to design for emerging AI-enabled experiences. You’ll help teams turn user, business, and technical complexity into clear, useful, and scalable experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Experience Designer at EY, you’ll play a vital role in shaping innovative and impactful solutions for our clients.

  • Hands-on designer across engagements, from discovery and concept development through prototyping, delivery, and iteration.
  • Partner with consulting teams to shape client deliverables, propose new concepts, and create narratives that showcase the impact of your work.
  • Translate research, data, and business needs into journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality experience designs.
  • Design across both digital products and broader service experiences, depending on client and engagement needs.
  • Shape experiences for both human users and AI-enabled interactions, with attention to trust, transparency, and ethics.
  • Collaborate with researchers, strategists, product leads, and engineers to define problems, align teams, and move work forward.
  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and collaborative working sessions with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to design systems, accessibility, and shared standards that improve consistency and scale.
  • Support other designers through feedback, collaboration, and informal mentorship.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly at multiple levels of fidelity.
  • Ability to simplify complex systems, workflows, and business problems into intuitive experiences.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and adapting across varied client contexts, constraints, and timelines.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across design, business, and technical teams.
  • Confidence facilitating conversations, presenting ideas, and building alignment with stakeholders and clients.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled design workflows and curiosity about designing AI-native or AI-assisted experiences.
  • Thoughtful judgment, low ego, and a strong learning mindset. Super curious.

To Qualify for the role you must have

  • Working knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • ~5+ years of experience in experience design, UX/UI, digital product design, or service design across web, mobile, and multi-platform experiences.
  • Experience collaborating effectively in hybrid or distributed teams across regions, disciplines, or time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human-centered design or related field.

Ideally, you will have

  • Ability to help shape upstream strategy by identifying experience opportunities, framing problems clearly, and connecting design recommendations to user needs, business value, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working across both digital products and broader service or journey-based experiences, depending on client and engagement needs.
  • Experience working in consulting, enterprise, or other complex stakeholder environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity, alignment, and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools and workflows, and curiosity about designing experiences that involve both people and intelligent systems.

If you don’t meet every single qualification, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives, transferable skills, and a demonstrated commitment to learning and impact.
