Who We Are

Edlink takes on some of the toughest problems in educational technology. We help turn bad data into good data to make it fast and easy for learning platforms to integrate with school data systems. Our API helps over 60 million people at 5,000 districts & universities access the learning platforms they use every day.

We’re a small but fast-growing startup based in Austin, Texas (26 team members). We’re high-performing, opinionated, and focused on building things that last. This is an opportunity to be Edlink’s first design leader and define how the product (and company) looks, feels, and works as we scale.

Who You Are

• A high-agency designer with a multi-disciplinary portfolio
• Comfortable owning the design process from problem definition to shipped work
• Strong communicator who works well with engineers, marketers, leadership, and clients
• Comfortable in ambiguity and excited by fast iteration
• A student of design in general; someone for whom art & aesthetics is more than just a 9-to-5

Nice to have:

• Startup experience (Seed / Series A)
• Experience with B2B SaaS, admin tools, or workflow-heavy products
• Experience building early design systems
• Years of experience matter far less than the quality of your work.

What You’ll Be Up To

As Edlink’s first Designer, you will:

• Own design end-to-end across for virtually all pixels we ship This includes a bit of everything: product design, web, marketing & sales collateral, physical print, brand work, etc.
• Build foundational design systems and reusable patterns as the product scales
• Define and implement our design language

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $130,000 – $160,000
• Equity: Stock options included (early-stage, meaningful ownership)
