Eatons ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Product Design Specialist - Wiring. This role will take place out of our facility in Sumter, SC. We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States. The Product Design Specialist - Wiring is responsible for being the technical lead of our Programmatic Engineering team in the development of our BOMs and harnesses. They will be subject matter experts with regard to power distribution control wiring. They will also work with adjacent divisions to develop Engineered-To-Order (ETO) automation capabilities.
This role requires hands-on experience with electrical CAD and wiring-automation platforms such as Autodesk Electrical or EPLAN. The ideal candidate will be proficient in creating and maintaining electrical schematics, panel layouts, wire lists, and routing logic, as well as generating manufacturing-ready outputs including BOMs, device data, and automated wiring information. Experience translating engineering intent into standardized, repeatable digital designs and ensuring compatibility with downstream manufacturing processes is essential. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
