Glovo is looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our UX team. In this role, you’ll work alongside UX Research, Content Design, Data, Product, and Engineering—all collaborating to drive cohesive, user-centered solutions. As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll shape the user experience and visual language of our mobile app and website, translating design goals and product requirements into compelling, intuitive interfaces. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop engaging and effective user experiences, ensuring consistency and innovation. In our environment of trust, constructive feedback, and flexibility, you’ll also mentor junior designers, fostering collaboration and elevating design quality across the team. You will also contribute and effectively utilize our Design System.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role within a product-focussed environment, with significant experience in Lean UX and Agile methodologies.
• A passionate advocate for the user with a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative data, and how and when to use them.
• An ego-free and people-focused mentality, with a collaborative design approach focused on meaningful outcomes.
• An iterative approach to everything you do, prioritizing speed over perfection.
• Communication skills to help facilitate the design process, set up frameworks, brainstorm initial design concepts and speak confidently to your own design work and reasoning.
• Strong understanding of user experience and interaction principles within the constraints of mobile devices, as well as across desktop environments.
• A self-driven attitude, striving for feedback and critique, seeking to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.
• Solid skills with design tools, such as Figma and other prototyping tools.
• Experience building and scaling hybrid component libraries (i.e.: Design Systems).

Must have:

• A portfolio which demonstrates previous design experience, breadth and depth of design skills with case studies illustrating challenges, methods, roles, and outcomes.
• Experience working in Product organizations in fast-paced environments is a plus.
