Job Description

We're hiring a Staff Product Designer to join the Quick Commerce Global Services team in Barcelona, to support the Delivery Hero Group's ecosystem.

YOUR MISSION

In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine Glovo's vibrant, fast-paced culture with the reach and complexity of the Delivery Hero Group, one of the world's largest local delivery platforms. You'll be part of a Central Team based in Barcelona, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that support the entire global ecosystem of the Group.

Our Mid-size Partner’s segment vision is to empower our Quick Commerce partners with the best mobile solutions. By creating a seamless user experience, we help them effortlessly operate, fulfill orders, and scale their businesses across any of our brands.

You will be involved in the full product development cycle, from brainstorming product innovations to conducting research and running usability testing sessions, to propose simple design solutions used by our Partners Worldwide.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead the design strategy to be in sync with the product strategy and vision by collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Translate complex user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Drive the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research to high-fidelity designs and implementation support.
  • Deliver production-ready, high-quality Android mobile user experiences using Figma as your primary tool.
  • Become the voice of the user, bringing their narrative to the forefront of any product discussions.
  • Be responsible for promoting design solutions and best practices within your team and across the organization, inspiring creativity, and challenging established thinking.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • You have extensive experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a user-centric approach and a deep understanding of problem-solving.
  • You bring a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience, specifically in B2C products and Android mobile design, and are proficient with Figma's distributed version control tools.
  • You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple workstreams and initiatives in a fast-paced environment, using operational expertise in prioritization and time management to navigate a complex segment.
  • You have vast experience leading research initiatives and design discussions, and are comfortable advocating for your design proposals through clear narratives and data-driven insights.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Spanish speaking is a huge plus.
  • You have demonstrable experience collaborating effectively with peers, product managers, developers, and senior stakeholders to align on goals and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • You have experience in a role that requires leadership and mentorship, which is highly valued.
