The Role
As a Product Designer at DailyPay, you will join a multidisciplinary squad focused on the backbone of our business: our B2B and platform experiences. While your initial focus will be on building powerful, intuitive tools for the companies and partners we serve, our squad-based structure is designed for growth. Youll have the opportunity to rotate and contribute to different sections of the business, solving diverse problems across our entire ecosystem.
This role is perfect for a designer who has mastered the fundamentals of UI/UX and is ready to deepen their impact through rigorous research, data-driven iteration, and cross-functional collaboration. You arent just a "feature builder"—you are a problem solver who seeks to understand the "why" before the "how." Youll ensure that every design decision is grounded in a deep understanding of our users needs and the "so what" behind our B2B strategy. This is a hybrid role based in our New York City office, offering a mix of focused remote work and high-energy, on-site collaboration.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Problem-Solving Excellence: Tackle design challenges head-on with a balanced and critical approach. Your role involves understanding user needs and business goals to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our products user experience.
- Design Mastery: Create detailed mockups and immersive prototypes, leveraging tools such as Figma and Sketch to demonstrate interactions, transitions, and workflows.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize insights from research and analytics to inform and justify your design choices.
- Foster Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Content Design, to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with DailyPays brand and user experience.
- Strategic Influence: Work closely with Product Managers to shape product roadmaps and contribute significantly to project outcomes and business metrics.
- Culture Contribution: Cultivate our team and company culture, bringing a positive influence and commitment to our innovative environment.
What You Bring to The Team
- Experienced Designer: Have at least 3 years of experience in Product or UX Design, with a portfolio showcasing your expertise in digital products, particularly mobile apps.
- Skilled Communicator: Able to articulate design decisions effectively to stakeholders and advocate for user-centered design principles.
- Growth-Oriented: Embodying a blend of optimism and humility, with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Leadership Skills: While your primary focus is on design, your ability to guide and influence others is a valued aspect of your role.
- Technically Proficient: Comfortable with design tools like Figma, Sketch, and others, and understand the importance of responsive design and accessibility best practices.
