Product Designer

What You'll Do

Criteo is looking for a Product Designer to join our Retail Media operation, developing innovative ad formats with top-tier Retailers and enhancing our creative offering to meet the needs within this ever-evolving industry. The ideal candidate is motivated to combine the art of design within the sensibilities of web responsiveness, creating elegant, usable, and interactive ad products across multiple devices and digital platforms.

The Product Designer role is focused on proposing and integrating Criteo’s creative solutions into retailers' web properties, adhering to the site’s structure, look and feel, and technical requirements. The Product Designer will work closely with retailers to incorporate relevant ad placements that enable brands to showcase products while enhancing the shopper’s experience and driving monetization.

Your tasks will include (but are not limited to):

  • Design innovative onsite digital advertising solutions for top retailers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and commercial stakeholders to understand client needs and business strategy, with a focus on monetization.
  • Create mockups and wireframes to support pitches and to prototype solutions, utilizing UI/UX knowledge and best design practices.
  • Develop and implement monetization strategies to maximize revenue by leveraging ad performance data analytics.
  • Articulate design choices clearly to stakeholders and clients.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the product development process.
  • Iterate new designs based on client feedback.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of product solutions and their implementation within Criteo platform.
  • Adhere to Criteo design systems and globalization processes.
  • Implement designs with engineers and optimize ad experiences through testing and troubleshooting.
  • Produce documentation for go-to-market materials and activations.
  • Participate with regional and global teams to innovate new ad formats and solutions for clients in a quickly evolving industry.
  • Conduct industry research on developing retail media advertising landscape, analyze products against performance benchmarks, and support development of growth opportunities.

Who You Are

  • Demonstrated experience with a design background focusing on UI/UX and Product design.
  • Proficient in design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Strong attention to detail, embody the work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Autonomous personality and interested in taking on initiatives and leading projects.
  • Works well in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment and is energized by driving solutions through teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks effectively, and ensuring the timely completion and delivery of tasks.
  • Possess a high degree of creativity, written and visual communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) for images and videos is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in English and other European language is a plus.
