CodeMettle are hiring a

User Experience (UX) Design, Co-Op or Intern (Spring 2026)

Due to the nature of our work, U.S. citizenship is REQUIRED to access CodeMettle company systems. We are unable to accept work authorizations.

Location:

Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – in office 2 days each week)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Semester Dates:

Monday, January 12th - Friday May 1st

We are a growing company passionately focused on solving the toughest problems for the most discerning customers. CodeMettle provides custom software development and integration services for companies in the broadcast, telecommunications, and government defense markets. Our software enables their operations centers to monitor and control all the necessary equipment used in broadcasting video and ensuring that advising operators that their services are intact, and downtime is minimized. CodeMettle provides an excellent learning experience for co-ops as they are mentored by software engineers and share many of their tasks.

What is a "Co-Op"?

Cooperative education is a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. A "Co-Op" provides academic credit for structured full-time job experience. To be eligible for a Co-Op position with CodeMettle, candidates must be currently enrolled in school and be able to commit to up to 3 semesters of full-time work with us. You will work with us full-time for the entirety of your semester. Semesters worked do not need to be consecutive.

If you will not be seeking academic credit for your semester with us, your internal title will still be “Co-Op,” but your experience will be categorized as a traditional internship. Candidates not currently enrolled in school will not be considered.

As the User Experience Design, Coop/Intern, you will be an active participant on our User Experience design team. You will be responsible for performing in a number of tasks including, but not limited to: 

  • User research and Testing
  • Ideation sessions
  • Research documentation
  • Conceptual design
  • Prototype design

The ideal candidate will have the following skills: 

  • Good understanding of UX theories, laws, design best practices and process
  • Experience in Figma or another similar prototyping tool
  • Familiarization with Adobe is a plus
  • Working knowledge of user research practices
  • Working understanding of user UX and interface design
