We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join our growing Product Design team. This role is available to candidates in the Great Toronto Area. If you are located near our Toronto downtown hub, you will be expected to work in the office a minimum of twice per week on our designated Anchor Days.
The Clio Manage team is a group of customer-first, system thinkers dedicated to removing administrative friction from legal practice management with AI-powered cloud services. As a Staff Product Designer, you will partner with Design teams, Product Managers, and Engineering to create long-term visions and execute near-term roadmaps for Clio Manage. You will bring a cross-product point-of-view across Clio to build Manage toward a system of capabilities (instead of individual features) so Clio Manage scales with our rapidly expanding product offerings and third-party services. You will help create a set of best practices for how AI should be designed in Manage, leveraging our market-leading AI platform for legal while ensuring ease-of-use and trustworthiness in legal domains. Youll lead strategy and end-to-end experience design across a complex product area — from discovery and opportunity framing through launch and iteration. Ideal candidates thrive in ambiguity, turning deep customer understanding into clear direction, cohesive experiences, and measurable outcomes. Youll partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to set vision, raise the quality bar, and elevate other designers, including shaping AI experiences that are trustworthy, explainable, and appropriately controlled.

The expected salary range for this role is $148,000 to $185,000 to $222,000 CAD. There are separate salary bands for other regions based on local currency. Our salary bands are designed to reflect the range of skills and experience needed for the position and to allow room for growth at Clio. For experienced individuals, we typically hire at or around the midpoint of the band. The top portion of the salary band is reserved for employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. Those who are new to the role may join below the midpoint and develop their skills over time. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
