Position Summary:

We’re looking for a problem-solving designer who has led the end-to-end UX processes associated to websites and mobile experiences for external audiences, as well as the creation of web apps for internal teams’ efficiency. You’ve seen projects that required a nuanced assessment of the market, product-market fit, and segmentation. You know how to start simple and then iterate. You’ve solved problems in the B2B and B2C lifecycle and have a flair for understanding revenue generation and how to convert a sale through thoughtful, informed user design thinking within websites. You have delivered buildable and testable screens for development and applied user design thinking to drive conversions. You might guide the team through user research and you know how to prove various hypotheses. While you have a healthy respect for savvy design, your engineering lens is equally important.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the full UX process from intake and discovery through design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end user journeys across multiple lines of business to deliver frictionless, cohesive experiences.
  • Continually analyze user flows, interactions, and content to identify gaps, conflicting messages, and opportunities to enhance alignment with business strategy.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define requirements, refine UX opportunities, and ensure solutions support business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder sessions to frame user problems, present solutions, and build alignment.
  • Prepare and present UX progress, insights, and metrics to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research into personas, journey maps, problem statements, and actionable insights.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors to guide empathetic, user-centered design.
  • Perform usability testing to validate concepts and improve user experience.
  • Create prototypes, define interaction models, and collaborate with design teams to ensure brand alignment and design quality.
  • Provide design guidance and rationale to team members, offering multiple solution paths and articulating trade-offs, risks, and engineering impacts.
  • When required, write or review UI code components or libraries to support implementation.
  • Maintain working knowledge of UX/UI tools, prototyping platforms, and development languages to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
  • Define UX success metrics in partnership with Product and key stakeholders.
  • Own the A/B testing and experimentation program—designing, executing, and interpreting tests to drive data-backed decisions.
  • Oversee UX initiatives across websites and applications to improve engagement, profitability, and lifecycle performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven organizational and project management skills.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with a passion for the customer first, along with accuracy and quality.
  • Experience conducting user research, interviews, observations, and journey mapping.
  • Experience designing and prototyping within interface design tools (e.g., Figma).
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a UX researcher, Website Product Designer, UX Information Architect, UX Strategist, Web Application Engineer, UX Manager, or similar titles with a strong portfolio that showcases skills and experience, including ADA and accessibility standards and applies them in designs.
  • High-level proficiency with and understanding of the application of Figma, Adobe CC and XD, or related software; WO, Google Optimize, or alternative A/B testing software, high-fidelity and low-fidelity design software.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously while able to translate the vision of Product and Marketing into efficient Engineering language.
  • Effective oral communication skills, ability to work cooperatively with internal and external contacts, ability to work well under pressure and according to deadlines, and to rapidly prototype proposed features.
  • Understands how to design for Enterprise application usability and friendliness, to apply consistent brand standards and design language, own design systems; willing to research the best designs for usability, and scalability—can analyze test results and apply them.
