The Opportunity:
CACIs Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a talented and passionate UX Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, youll have the opportunity to shape the user experience of cutting-edge solutions. Youll work in a collaborative environment, applying UX design principles, interaction design, and front-end development to create intuitive and impactful user interfaces. The UX Engineer Intern will help in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring that our products deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with UX initiatives and using best practices as part of the ASF Center of Excellence
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and development teams to translate design mockups and prototypes into high-quality, performant code.
- Implement and maintain user interface components and interactions according to design specifications.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design iterations and improvements.
- Contribute to the documentation of design and development processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with UX design, principles and front-end development
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
Desired:
- Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $45,900 - $91,900
