The Opportunity:

CACI is currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst with agile methodology experience to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

ASF programs thrive in a culture of innovation and are constantly seeking individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional systems requirements and user stories in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Support the development of custom software and database applications.
  • Contribute to UI/UX design for enterprise applications.
  • Assist in prototyping UI/UX designs under supervision.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to understand business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal team members during the development cycle.
  • Help translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Assist in modeling data and producing mockups to support business processes and systems.
  • Learn and apply business analysis principles to support solution development.
  • Demonstrate a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Assist in documenting meeting decisions and action items.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or related field
  • Basic understanding of software development life cycle
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio) and SharePoint
  • Ability to work constructively in a diverse team environment
  • Must pass a CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required)

Desired:

  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles
  • Familiarity with business process modeling
  • Interest in pursuing business analysis certifications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $61,100 - $122,200
